Marcus Smart out, Enes Kanter available vs. Hawks as Celtics injury carousel continues

Around and around it goes, when will all the Boston Celtics injuries stop, nobody knows.

The Celtics will not be at full strength again Monday night when they take on the lowly 13-37 Atlanta Hawks as Marcus Smart will not play as he nurses his right thigh contusion that he sustained in Saturday’s win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

There is some good news on the Celtics injury front though as Enes Kanter, who had missed the last five games due to a right hip contusion, will suit up versus the Hawks as the 6-foot-10 big man got cleared after he went through this morning’s shootaround.
