Pat Riley and the Miami Heat have been playing hardball with the Portland Trail Blazers in trade talks this summer. Add in the fact that NBA teams are leery of using up their assets trading for Damian Lillard with multiple All-NBA players potentially becoming available next summer, and the possibility that Portland retains it's lead guard into training camp becomes more real by the day.
And with this being the case, it seems like Lillard has not only not shut the door on a return to Portland, but recently stated, "In a perfect world, I could spend my entire career in Portland” on the It Is What It Is show.
