Kemba Walker has had an impressive career stats-wise, but he has lacked what many of his peers have achieved when it comes to team success. The Boston Celtics are the first franchise he has ever been with besides the team that drafted him. It was apparently very difficult for him to leave the Queen City after an eight-year stint that didn’t do much for his career.
Walker said it was “f-ing tough” to leave the Charlotte Hornets. If he has that much loyalty to an organization that delivered him Al Jefferson and a past-his-prime Dwight Howard as his primary running mates, he is going to fall twice as hard for the Boston Celtics.
