Kemba Walker to miss third straight game

Kemba Walker will miss his third straight game due to flu-like symptoms as the Celtics ruled out the star point guard for their road matchup with the Washington Wizards Monday.

Walker, who is averaging 22.5 points, 5.2 assists and 3.9 rebounds in his first season in Boston, played 30 of the team’s first 31 games before having to sit out as he battles the illness.

Boston hasn’t faltered in Walker’s absence as the C’s picked up back-to-back wins against the Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
