Jayson Tatum wins eastern conference rookie of the month for December

Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum was named the eastern conference’s rookie of the month for December Thursday.

Tatum has been one of the league’s top rookies all season, and finally received some recognition for his production.

Tatum averaged 14.6 points, leading all rookies in total scoring, and shot over 52% from the field and 45% from three over the course of 17 games.
