The National Basketball Players Association this past Friday released their own awards for the 2016-17 NBA season. These awards are unique in the sense that they are voted on solely by fellow NBA players. One of Friday’s awarded recipients was none other than Isaiah Thomas, taking home the ‘Most Clutch’ award.
Until just a couple of days ago, this would have been another high talking point for Celtics fans in what was considered a rather successful season for team. But of course, Isaiah Thomas is no longer a Boston Celtic. In the biggest move of the offseason, the Celtics traded away Thomas as part of a package to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Kyrie Irving.
