Jordan Walsh has been a surprising bright spot for the Celtics this season, as his defense has led him to earn a consistent spot in the starting lineup.
In his third year in the league, Walsh has often been giving the role of defending the opposition’s best scorer, a challenge he’s taken head-on.
However, Thursday night’s win over the Wizards showed Celtics fans that Walsh can get it done on both ends of the floor, as he dropped a career-high 22 points on a perfect 8-of-8 shooting. This is the second game in a row he hasn’t missed a shot, after going 4-of-4 from the field against the Knicks on Tuesday.
