The Detroit Pistons have waived Ron Harper Jr., per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. In January, the six-foot-four wing joined the franchise that calls "The Motor City" home on a two-way deal.
Harper appeared in one game with Detroit. He logged 17 minutes in the parent club's final regular-season game, a tilt against the Milwaukee Bucks. He registered four points, seven rebounds, and two assists in a 140-133 overtime loss.
Before signing with the Pistons, the former St. John's standout was suiting up for the Boston Celtics' G League affiliate in Maine. In one of his last appearances with them, he generated 25 points, buried six threes, snagged five rebounds, and dished out four assists.
