Fire alarm evacuates TD Garden after Celtics’ loss to Knicks

The remaining Celtics fans were evacuated from TD Garden after an alarm went off, according to officials and reporters on scene.

The Celtics lost their second game in the series against the New York Knicks in Boston Wednesday night. The game ended around 9:30 p.m., and around an hour later, members of the media and players had to evacuate in lieu of their regular postgame interviews.

The Celtics, after a 91-90 loss, shared a statement from TD Garden confirming the incident in a statement. No one was injured, the venue said.

“Fire alarm went off tonight post game,” TD Garden’s statement read.
