In the Boston Celtics’ tough 119-115 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night, Derrick White made team history. He nailed two threes in the contest, breaking Isaiah Thomas’ franchise record for most consecutive games with a made triple. And considering how cold he’s been from deep range this season, that’s a relatively ironic record for him to have broken.
This season has been a brutal year for White, especially when it comes to his three-point shot. After being one of the most consistent three-point shooters for the past few seasons, White hasn’t had that same success.
