Danny Ainge had some fun messing with Celtics great Bob Cousy in the wee hours of the morning Saturday.
Ainge, the Celtics’ current president of basketball operations, tweeted a picture of himself standing next to Cousy. Cousy appears to be using a walking stick, but Ainge shoots his shot, anyway.
“I can finally beat the Cooz one on one, I think,” Ainge tweeted, sprinkling in a Celtics and a scream emoji for good measure.

Cousy, 90, who spoke at a team practice earlier this week, doesn’t have a Twitter account, so the world will be deprived of a Twitter war between two of the Celtics’ most recognizable figures.
