Danny Ainge couldn’t wait for Terry Rozier

WALTHAM — It’s Danny Ainge’s job to sell as much as manage at this time of year, and the Celtics president of basketball operations was in marketing overdrive yesterday.

Ainge’s first challenge is dealing with a public disappointed that he didn’t trade up into the lottery during last week’s NBA draft. The second challenge is who he took with the 16th pick — Terry Rozier. While the Louisville guard is as tough and driven as anyone in this year’s draft class, most teams had him ranked much lower than No. 16.

The third challenge is one of numbers — the Celtics are already overstocked with smaller guards, some like Rozier with shooting questions.
