Celtics win streak snapped in 123-108 loss to the Pelicans

The Boston Celtics saw their three-game win streak snapped in a 123-108 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. Boston got behind by as many as 23 points, before rallying several times in the second half. In the end, they couldn’t get over the hump.

The Celtics lost despite a big night from Kemba Walker. Walker scored 35 points, including 23 in the second half. After an 0-for-7 start, Walker finished 10-of-24 from the floor. He also grabbed five rebounds and handed out four assists.

Walker was joined in the scoring efforts by Gordon Hayward, who had 23 points.
