With Jabari Bird in street clothes for a scheduled rest day and Robert Williams still sidelined the Summer Celtics won a scrappy affair against the Summer incarnation of the Miami Heat. The Celtics were paced throughout by the good play of former Iowa / Fort Wayne Mad Ant product Jared Uthoff (11 pts, 6 rebs), European bound Pierra Henry (15 pts, 5 asts) and the Dancing Bear Guerschon Yabusele, who pirouetted his way to a double double with 12 pts and 10 rebounds.
The Celtics came out flat to start against the Miami Heat and went behind early following some hot shooting of Rashad Vaughn who tallied 8 points in 6 minutes to start the game.
