Celtics subs bench Bucks

MILWAUKEE — While it was left to the political pundits to declare a winner in the Republican presidential debate across the street, the Celtics left no doubt at the Bradley Center.

The Celts bench was, to quote Donald Trump, “yooge.” The substitutes outscored their Milwaukee brethren, 48-25, paving the path to a 99-83 final in favor of the C’s that for this evening made the Bucks — yes, Mr. Trump — losers.

Isaiah Thomas scored eight of his 20 points in the fourth quarter to lead all scorers, but Evan Turner and Kelly Olynyk had 11 apiece and David Lee arose with 13 to pace the pine people.
