The last two games for the Boston Celtics have been at opposite ends of the enjoyment spectrum. Friday night featured a one-point thrilling win over the Philadelphia 76ers, while Saturday's game ended in a 128-101 blowout loss to the Houston Rockets. It's likely that the Celtics' season is going to be defined by these kinds of extreme highs and lows.

In the grand scheme of things, this really shouldn't be all that surprising. We know that Boston lost more talent than any other team in the league over the course of the summer, and the expectations coming into this current campaign were far from what have been the typical standards in this era of Celtics basketball.
