The Boston Celtics' 2018-19 roster appears close to being set with very little room to add any additional players. By my count, the roster is presently at 14 players, not including Marcus Smart whose situation is still in flux as a restricted free agent.
Marcus is not the sole cause of the flux of which I mentioned. Jabari Bird was given a qualifying offer as a two-way player, making him another RFA. Jonathan Gibson turned down his QO and is an unrestricted free agent. Newly-acquired Brad Wanamaker is included in the 14 players, and now the Celtics may have interest in his former Euroleague teammate, James Nunnally.
