ATLANTA — One benefit of going to Georgia State was the location for R.J. Hunter.
The Celtics rookie, a young shooter just beginning to develop his jumper, found himself in the same city as Kyle Korver, probably the purest shooter in the game today.
Hunter, who is receiving extra minutes now thanks to Marcus Smart (knee)being sidelined, will play against the Hawks’ Korver for the second time tonight. It’s a chance to learn even more about his friend and opponent.
“He sat down and had lunch with me when I was in college, so actually we’re good friends,” Hunter said before yesterday’s practice at Georgia Tech.
