Celtics notebook: Gordon Hayward returns home from hospital, feels ‘pretty positive’ post surgery

PHILADELPHIA — Gordon Hayward left New England Baptist Hospital yesterday and returned home, and the long process of post-surgical recovery has begun. Thanks to some outreach by Brad Stevens, there could be novel methods involved.

The Celtics coach reached out to good friend Frank Vogel on Wednesday, and the Orlando coach shared some of the ways that his former Pacers star, Paul George, dealt with a broken leg.
