Hall-of-Fame big man and 2008 NBA Champion Kevin Garnett is finally going to be granted his longtime wish. The Boston Celtics legend will be honored by his other NBA home, the Minnesota Timberwolves, when they retire Garnett’s No. 21 jersey sometime over the next two seasons, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

KG spent his first 12 NBA seasons with the Timberwolves, and then his final two, eight years after being traded to Boston in July of 2007. He won the 2004 Most Valuable Player award and led the team to eight straight playoff appearances from 1996-97 through the 2003-04 season.
