According to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto, the Boston Celtics have exercised the $2.74 million team option for the next season of Baylor Scheierman’s rookie contract.

Basically, this means that Boston has seen enough from Scheierman, where they’ve decided that they want to bring him back for a third season next year.
