Celtics defeat Lakers 126-115 on Christmas Day thanks to well-balanced attack

Despite a 40-point night from Anthony Davis, the Celtics defeated the Lakers 126-115 at the Crypo.com Arena on Christmas Day. The starting lineup scored 108 of the team’s 126 points; Kristaps Porzingis led the charge with 28 points on 11-19 shooting, while Jayson Tatum (25 points), Jaylen Brown (19 points), Derrick White (18 points), Jrue Holiday (18 points) each had solid nights of their own.

The Celtics jumped out to an 18-point first quarter lead, lost that lead in the second quarter, but ultimately regained control of the game in the second half and led by double digits for most of the fourth quarter.
