The Celtics defense was extremely effective today, holding the Hawks to just 38.8% from the floor and 5/29 from the three point line. Moving forward, as long as the Celtics can limit Atlanta in transition and on the offensive glass, they should be in good shape.
There was a level of stress that came with Atlanta cutting the 32-point lead down to 12, but Boston controlled this game for the most part. The C's need to make sure they bury teams when they get up big and not allow them back into the game.
