The Celtics picked up where they left off in Oklahoma City, lighting up the nets in the first quarter on 4-9 from three point territory. From the opening tip it appeared that things are finally starting to come together on both ends of the floor. The ball movement was terrific early, the Celtics swarming defensive pressure was solid and a good amount of team rebounding helped the team close the quarter 28-21.
Throughout the first half the Celtics looked to matchup physically against Blake Griffin who came into the game averaging 33 points a game and Celtics almost kept the former Clipper scoreless as he managed only 3 points on 1-9 shooting in the first half.
