“Air Kraft” meet “Lucky Blue.”
The Celtics and JetBlue have revealed a new aircraft design in honor of Boston’s historic basketball franchise. Decked out in the team’s colors and logo, the Airbus A320 is JetBlue’s first co-branded plane dedicated to an NBA team.
The custom-designed aircraft was unveiled at Boston’s Logan International Airport Monday morning. Both Celtics and JetBlue executives were on hand for the presentation, as well as 24 students from Winthrop Middle School’s STEM Club.
“JetBlue and the Celtics play in the same backyard, and as the largest carrier in Boston, we want to support the teams that our neighbors are passionate about,” JetBlue’s executive vice president of commercial and planning, Marty St.
