Kevin Garnett’s Area 21 segment on TNT achieved its goal: We’re all watching and we’re all talking about it.
What we saw the other night, KG assembling Paul Pierce, Kendrick Perkins, Rajon Rondo and Glen “Big Baby” Davis for an on-air reunion of the Celtics’ 2007-08 championship season, isn’t likely to be duplicated in future Area 21 installments.
But stay with it, because Garnett could bring four CPA’s from Ernst & Young onto the set and make it interesting and entertaining.
However, the biggest news out of Area 21 isn’t who was on the show, but who was not.
