Brian Scalabrine will be part of NBC Sports and Peacock’s broadcasts of NBA games in the upcoming season.
But the new role will have minimal effect on his gig as the primary game analyst on NBC Sports Boston’s Celtics broadcasts.
“There might be minor overlaps here and there where I have a national assignment on the night of a Celtics game, but NBC is going to do their best not to affect much if anything locally,” said Scalabrine, noting that Eddie House would probably pick up any games he misses. “From my understanding, that’s what it looks like.
