MANCHESTER, N.H. – Avery Bradley was banged up entering the Boston Celtics’ preseason finale Friday night, but that that didn’t stop him from hitting the court.
The sixth-year guard had bruised his right shin one night earlier while diving into the stands for a loose ball during the third quarter of a 99-85 win over the New York Knicks. He exited that contest, had his leg wrapped in ice and did not return.
One would think that type of injury would call for a night of rest Friday night against Philadelphia, given that it was the second game of a preseason back-to-back.
