Brad Stevens’ huge heart hurts

The Celtics held a moment of silence for Andrew Smith prior to last night’s game against the Pacers. Brad Stevens has undoubtedly been holding many on his own since his former Butler center passed away from cancer Tuesday.

The Celtics coach has largely done an admirable job of putting on a brave face, his broken-voiced talk before the Knicks game two nights ago notwithstanding. “There’s no question of Brad’s integrity,” his boss, Danny Ainge, said last night.
