Boston Celtics: pros and cons of signing Enes Kanter

The offseason transformation of the Boston Celtics continued on Monday when the team agreed to a deal with free agent center Enes Kanter. This of course, followed Boston’s Sunday agreement with free agent superstar Kemba Walker.

Now the Celtics have effectively replaced Kyrie Irving and Al Horford. Irving was long rumored to be headed to the Brooklyn Nets where he’ll be joined by two-time finals MVP Kevin Durant and DeAndre Jordan. Horford, on the other hand, shocked the world by agreeing to a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The new-look Celtics will have a chance to battle their Atlantic Division rivals, along with the rest of the NBA in a few months.
