Potential Boston Celtics offseason trade target Damian Lillard — who has often been linked to a swap involving Jaylen Brown should No. 7 desire a fresh start elsewhere — snubbed the Cs when he was asked by Brian Custer on Showtime’s “The Last Stand” his preferred landing spot between Boston, Brooklyn, and Miami.
“Miami, obviously,” Lillard prefaced before saying, “Bam (Adebayo) is my dog for real but Miami, obviously. Brooklyn is another obvious one because Mikal Bridges is my dog too.”
No mention of the Cs from Lillard could put the rumor to bed for good, although knowing the national media, there will be a shift to a different team’s star for a one-to-one swap involving Brown and Boston.
