For those that follow the Houdini regularly (can’t say it enough, you are the best) you’d know that I have lofty expectations for the Boston Celtics this offseason.
And why shouldn’t I?
The Cs came two games from the NBA Finals in a season they were supposed to struggle to adjust to the wide-scale changes that went from transferring the power from the likes of Kyrie Irving, Al Horford and even Marcus Morris and Terry Rozier to a lesser degree to new point guard Kemba Walker, and under-24-year-old blue-chippers like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
Of course, the season happened, and we now know the Celtics are better off in this brave new world.
