So, Boston Celtics fans, if you’ve been following the timeline, you’ll know that the NBA is starting to form a calendar from the ashes of the season being dramatically upended.
We should know this week what the league will come up with in terms of a return to play plan. On Thursday, there will be a vote to ratify a scenario where 22 teams would return to play.
Obviously, that would mean the 16 teams who currently qualify for the playoffs plus six additional teams — likely most of which will be from the Western Conference — to join them to determine seeding and to take part in a potential play-in scenario.
