Boston Celtics: 2 “last chance” players Cs should consider signing this offseason

With reports circulating that a return to action is well within the realm of possibility, Boston Celtics fans should feel a sense of true relief — their quest for banner number 18 still lives on in 2019-20.

Prior to the COVID-19 induced hiatus that started on March 11th, the shamrocks were in the midst of their sixth straight playoff-bound campaign. Accumulated a record of 43-21, the Cs ranked in at the third seed in the Eastern Conference and in the fifth seed in the entire association.

With the likes of All-Stars Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum, potential Most Improved Player candidate Jaylen Brown, a seemingly resurgent Gordon Hayward, and the Swiss Army man himself Marcus Smart all being led by one of the league’s best Head Coaches in Brad Stevens it’s hard to wonder how they managed to achieve such success this year.
