Anfernee Simons' first season-opener in Boston will also be his last

The Boston Celtics traded for Anfernee Simons this offseason, but his first season opener with the franchise will be his last. They are already shopping his expiring contract in hopes of dodging the luxury and resetting the repeater penalty. Simons is not exactly a Mazzulla player, and his stay with the Celtics will be brief.

Simons is adjusting to being the sixth man after starting for the Blazers for three-plus years. He finished with 13 points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block in 32 minutes in the season-opening loss to the 76ers.
