We all saw how well Danny Ainge was able to scramble and cobble together an impressive roster despite losing so many free agents this past July. The Boston Celtics will look very different from the team that made it to the Eastern Conference semifinals in 2019. However, the expectations for this team are the same.
Like last season, the Celtics are expected to be a playoff contender but this team isn’t as experienced as the one that got bounced by the Milwaukee Bucks this past May. Instead, several rookies could be in line for big minutes.
That is ultimately a good thing for the future of the franchise.
