Following a long four-hour flight to Houston on Friday afternoon, the Boston Celtics decided to unwind by spending even more time together at dinner.
Per Marc D'Amico of Celtics.com, "Rajon Rondo revealed Saturday morning that he and his teammates gathered together for an important – and lengthy – meal following their long flight to Houston, all with the goal of developing team chemistry."
With the Celtics over 45 minutes away from home for the first time all season, Friday night's meal was the perfect time for the team to have such a meal.
"I think this is where the camaraderie comes together and you become a close team,” Rondo said of road trips in general. “It wasn’t an official team dinner [Friday], but we went to eat and we had a good team-bonding dinner."
"It took about three hours. It was a great dinner."
