Trio of Bruins put on waivers

The last days leading up to the regular season are a time for teams to finalize their rosters before opening night. It also marks the busiest time of the year on the waiver wire.

In the next step of solidifying their 23-man roster, the Bruins placed a trio of players — Seth Griffith, Tyler Randell and Tim Schaller — on the waiver wire this afternoon. Teams have until 5 p.m. tomorrow — the deadline for teams to send their rosters for the start of the 2016-17 season — to claim someone off waivers.

A fifth-round pick in the 2012 Entry Draft, Griffith spent most of his first three years in Providence tallying 158 points in that span, including 77 in 2015-16.
