The Boston Bruins made another trade today, sending forward Frank Vatrano to the Florida Panthers in exchange for a third-round draft pick in this coming June’s draft, per a team media release.
Vatrano appeared in just 25 games for the Bruins this season, recording two goals. He leaves Boston with 20G-11A-31PTS totals in 108 games.
It’s a quiet exit for Vatrano, a Massachusetts native who burst onto the scene when he made his first few appearances. After lighting it up in the AHL as well, Vatrano couldn’t seem to get going again in the big leagues.
