Well, for starters, Marchand will need to add another few inches to his height and grow out a full-length beard just to try to pull that feat off. So, he’ll have to settle as Bergeron’s linemate for the time being.
That is a dream in and of itself. Marchand, along with David Pastrnak, established themselves as Bergeron’s partners in crime over the past year and a half; forming the best line in the National Hockey League.
Marchand and Pastrnak didn’t have Bergeron during the preseason. It didn’t matter as Bergeron is picking up right where he left off last year.
