The Case for Ryan Fitzgerald: Why he Deserves a Chance to crack the B’s Roster

When Bruins fans think of prospects that should receive the okay to be called up, the name Ryan Fitzgerald seems to never come to mind.

And frankly? It should.

Since joining the B’s organization in 2013, Fitzgerald has spent two full seasons with the Providence Bruins, strongly improving his game. Last season, Fitzy tallied 37 points (21 G, 16 A) in 65 games. The winger is set to break his career high this season as he already has 26 points (7 G, 19 A) in 34 games played.

Despite Fitzgerald’s small 5’9 stature, he can play a very physical game.
