The band is back together

Sure, the group that was fortunate enough to head overseas had quite the bonding experience both on and off the ice. But even the training sessions and the pair of exhibition’s with the Flames in Shenzhen and Bejing didn’t bring training camp vibe that they’re all used to back home.

Saturday was different as the China group touched the Warrior Ice Arena surface for the first time this preseason. The excitement of reuniting and skating with their domestic counterparts brought that training camp vibe.

“It feels nice. We haven’t had a full squad practice yet, but it was nice to see everyone and be back at Warrior here and back in North America,” DeBrusk said following the first of two training sessions at the Brighton practice facility.
