It was a home cooking weekend for Providence this week, as the Bruins had games against Binghamton, Utica, and Hartford at the Dunkin Donuts Center.
The Bruins would take 2 out of the 3, with the one loss coming on Sunday and ending the team’s six-game winning streak.
A three-goal second period powered the Bruins in this one, as did four points from defenseman Cooper Zech (1G, 3A). Joona Koppanen scored twice as well, and Max Lagace made 21 saves.
