It was an impressive week for the Boston Bruins American Hockey League affiliate, the Providence Bruins. They were able to beat both of their foes from Connecticut to improve to 7-2 on the season and got some contributions from some well-known names.
On Tuesday, Providence beat the Hartford Wolf Pack, 4-2, at the XL Center as Sam Asselin recorded a hat trick. Asselin scored two of his three goals on the power play and has six points in his last six games. Brady Lyle scored his third goal of the season in the win.
