It felt like a captains practice: Patrice Bergeron was back on the ice.
The Bruins’ No. 1 center and franchise cornerstone, who is entering his 15th NHL season, was on the ice for the start of Friday’s informal workout at Warrior Ice Arena.

Bergeron had groin surgery in June, and coach Bruce Cassidy told the Globe last week that he will be limited when camp opens Sept. 10, and is likely to miss some preseason games.
