The Bruins have been rolling for the past few weeks, but one of their trade deadline acquisitions may miss some time after taking a big hit in the first period of tonight’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Not great! There’s not much you can argue about the hit, as it wasn’t late or targeting the head. It was just a big hit on a smaller guy.
The problem, of course, is that Marcus Johansson has a concussion history, mainly thanks to his now-teammate Brad Marchand. Awkward. It’s not officially a concussion, but the snap of Johansson’s had certainly makes that thought enter your mind.
