Jeremy Lauzon will be out a month with a broken hand

The Bruins announced this morning that defenseman Jeremy Lauzon will miss at least four weeks after undergoing surgery for a broken hand.

Lauzon, you’ll remember, left Sunday night’s Lake Tahoe game early, and didn’t return.

Per the team, the fracture is in his left hand. They didn’t specify when the surgery took place, though it’s fair to assume it was either yesterday or this morning.

Lauzon will be reevaluated in “approximately” four weeks, so it’s probably a safe bet that we won’t see him back in game action until the end of March, at the earliest.
