The Bruins were slow out of the gate YET AGAIN, fortunately against a sagging team; nothing much happened in the period. Several penalties, a few too many quality chances for Carolina, and when it looked like a futile Boston effort in the final minute would yield a goal, the Bruins pushed play back to the other end and David Pastrnak made a slick feed from behind the net to Brad Marchand at the post to tally one with 20 seconds to play.
There was. LITERALLY. no time left for anything else to happen.
