The Bruins face the Maple Leafs in a decisive Stanley Cup Playoffs Game 7 on Wednesday night at TD Garden, and it will apparently be without a highly-touted rookie.
Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy’s plans reportedly do not include Ryan Donato for Game 7, as he isn’t in the Boston lineup released on Wednesday morning. Instead of Donato, 22-year-old Danton Heinen returns to the lineup after not being included on the Game 6 lines.
“This is the group we envisioned and the group we trust to get it done,” Cassidy said.
Game 7 lineup per Bruce Cassidy:
Marchand – Bergeron – Pastrnak
DeBrusk – Krejci – Rick Nash
Heinen – Riley Nash – Backes
Schaller – Kuraly – AcciariChara – McAvoy
Krug – Miller
Grzelcyk – McQuaidRask
