Fluke flies away to the Great White North

Last season was Emily Fluke’s first season representing Boston professionally - and it would appear to be her only one, at least for now: the Bourne native inked a contract with the newest member of the NWHL, the Toronto Six.

Fluke’s only season here in Boston was a boom for her career. She was able to set career highs in points (27), goals (9), and assists (18). In each of her previous two seasons with the Connecticut Whale, Fluke scored only 11 points.

Fluke will join former Boston Blades coach Digit Murphy, who will serve as both head coach and team president for the Six, up in Toronto.
